Diamond Innovation Accounting was born from seeing people struggle every day with the often mundane albeit important tasks of accounting and running a business without proper support that all businesses need.
Being in the accounting industry for over 10 years and seeing the changes not only within the industry but also in technology, has further enhanced our idea of working smarter and not harder.
There is always more to do and better things to be doing than book work. We take on board the systems, applications and integrations that exist to give businesses the tools to focus on what matters the most, their business.
Kyla Dalton - Director
Kyla grew up in the Northern Territory working as a debtors clerk for the Katherine Gorge. Moving to Airlie Beach and starting in public practice in 2009. Kyla specialised in Self managed Super Funds, then branched out to small and medium businesses. Moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2012 felt immediately like home and a few short years later decided that the best way to continue providing the small town support to small and medium businesses was to start Diamond Innovation Accounting.
Kyla has two daughters and spends any free time she has reading, cooking and camping.
Demi Lock - Bookkeeper/Client services manager
Demi grew up on the Sunshine Coast spending most of her life in the Caloundra area. Starting as a receptionist in accounting at 17 she has worked her way through various roles in the accounting industry. She is currently completing her Certificate IV Bookkeeping and Accounting.
Demi enjoys spending time with her family and two small children and is addicted to reality TV.
